Dr. Moshikur Rahman is an academic researcher in the Department of Applied Chemistry at Kyushu University, Japan. He has been awarded the highly prestigious Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) postdoctoral research fellowship in 2020. Dr. Moshikur completed his Ph.D. in bioengineering from Kyushu University under the Japanese Government Ph.D. Scholarship (MEXT) in 2019. After his Ph.D., he took a postdoctoral position at the National University Corporation at Kyushu University, Japan. Before joining Kyushu University, he served as a quality operation executive at Square Pharmaceutical Ltd. and Renata Ltd. in Bangladesh from 2012 to 2016.

Dr. Moshikur has published 20 peer-reviewed research articles and 2 review papers, 3 book chapters, and given oral and conference presentations around the world. He regularly reviews papers for Scientific Reports, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, ACS Omega, ACS Molecular Pharmaceutics, Green Chemistry, RSC Advances, Chemical Communication, International Journal of Pharmaceutics, and Journal of Molecular Liquids. His current research interests are the development of new lipid nano-materials, biocompatible counter-ions for prodrug synthesis, and ionic liquid surfactants, as well as their applications in pharmaceutics to deliver small drug molecules, proteins, and peptides through oral, intravenous, and transdermal administration. He always likes to come up with new and innovative ideas to improve efficiency and explore wider opportunities.
